Hot-rolled Continurous Thread Rock Bolt

图片
There are 2 types of rock bolt with different raw materials –   Hot Rolled Threaded Rebar   and Rebar with Thread Rolling Process. Threaded rebar can be directly used with nut with no thread rolling process, it only need to be cut to length; for rebar with no continuous thread, thread rolling and inspection is needed. Bolt Nut used for threaded rebar and thread deformed bar is also different, which is decided by thread dimension. Rock Bolt with Hot Rolled Continuous Thread Rebar and   Heat Treated Thread Deformed Bar   can be used in most applications with no difference.   Continurous Threaded Rebar Rock Bolt Types:   Dimensions of Threaded Rebar Rock Bolt Diameter dh/mm dv/mm h/mm b/mm I/mm r/mm a /mm Size Tolerance I Size Tolerance Size Tolerance Size Tolerance i Size | Tolerance 15 147 ±0.2 14,4 ±0.5 1.0 ±0.2 4.2 ±0.3 10.0 ±0.2 0.5 78.5* 20 20.0 ±0.4 20.0 +0.4-0.8 1.3 ±0.3 4.8 ±0.5 10.0 1.2 80.5 25 250 25.0 +0.4-0.8 1.6 6.0 12.0 1.5 81* 32 32.0 ±0.5 32.0...

THREE REASONS WHY MANUFACTURERS PREFER ROLLED THREADS

图片
An Introduction to Thread Rolling Thread rolling is a cold forming or cold metal forming process that creates threads using precision thread rolling dies that are the mirror image of the thread being produced. This process is different from other processes like metal cutting, grinding, and chasing because it does not remove any metal to create the desired profile. Instead, these hardened steel thread rolls move and mold ductile metals quickly and very precisely into desired thread form. The tooth form of the thread rolls protrudes into the outside diameter of cylindrical blank workpiece to reform the surface. The workpiece typically has a blank diameter between the major and minor diameter of the thread, or close to the pitch diameter of the thread being produced. The ultimate blank diameter of the work piece will depend on material grade and ductility value. The extreme pressure from  the thread rolls  causes the blank material to move outward into the cavity between the thre...

What Are the Common Uses of Thread Bars?

图片
Thread bars also known as   threaded rods   or stud bolts, are versatile fasteners used in a wide range of applications across various industries. These cylindrical metal rods have threads on the entire length or on a portion of their surface, allowing them to be screwed into nuts or tapped holes. Thread bars serve several common uses: Construction and Building Industry: Thread bars  are commonly used in the construction industry for applications such as anchoring structural elements like concrete columns, beams, and walls. They provide stability and ensure the structural integrity of buildings and bridges. Civil Engineering: In civil engineering projects, thread bars are utilized for applications like soil and rock stabilization, ground anchoring, and retaining wall construction. They are essential in ensuring the stability of structures in challenging environments. Automotive and Machinery: Thread bars play a crucial role in the automotive and machinery industry, used f...

Domed Nut: A Secure and Aesthetic Fastening Solution

图片
A   domed nut   is a type of nut that has a rounded or curved top surface. This shape can serve various purposes, such as providing a more ergonomic and comfortable grip for tightening or loosening by hand. Domed nuts are commonly used in a wide range of applications, including machinery, automotive, and construction, where secure fastening is required. They are available in different materials and sizes to suit specific needs. What is a Domed Nut? A domed nut, also known as an acorn nut or cap nut, is a type of fastener with a distinctive domed or rounded top, covering the exposed threads of a bolt or screw. These nuts are not only functional but also add an aesthetic element to the fastening, making them popular in various applications. How Are Domed Nuts Constructed? Domed nuts are typically made from materials such as steel, stainless steel, brass, or aluminum. They undergo a machining process to create the domed shape on top, which not only serves an aesthetic purpose but...

What Are the Common Uses of Domed Nuts?

图片
In the realm of   fasteners   and hardware components, domed nuts may not always be the first thing that comes to mind. However, these unassuming yet essential pieces play a pivotal role in various industries and applications. In this comprehensive article, we will explore the common uses of domed nuts, shedding light on their versatility and significance. Domed nuts , also known as acorn nuts or cap nuts, are specialized types of nuts distinguished by their dome-shaped or rounded top. These unique fasteners are typically hexagonal or square in shape and are threaded internally. Their distinctive design serves both functional and aesthetic purposes. 1. Construction Industry In the construction industry, domed nuts find extensive use in securing structural elements. These nuts are often employed to fasten bolts that hold critical components together, such as steel beams and columns. Their rounded tops not only enhance safety by covering sharp bolt ends but also add an appealing...
