When purchasing rebar, we need to pay attention to three points.

Vernier calipers can be used to simply measure whether the actual size is consistent with the stated size (generally, the rebar is rolled with a specification mark), and whether the difference is within the standard deviation (e.g., the standard inner diameter of 16 rebar is 15.4±0.4mm, while the inner diameter of most shoddy rebar is about 13mm).

 

Third, regular packaging.

Most of the regular steel in the factory bundle packaging, bundles of steel are hung with metal tags corresponding to the physical, marked with the plant name, rebar brand, batch number, specifications and inspection code. The shoddy steel due to the crude production conditions, no large lifting equipment, mostly small bundles (about ten bundles) packaging or bulk, no metal tags, no quality assurance certificate.
